The incident happened in Madurai on July 29 during the Aadi festival celebrations at the Muthumariamman temple near Palanganatham. The incident was caught on CCTV. The victim, Muthukumar, felt a bout of dizziness and tried to lean one of the six utensils in which porridge was being cooked. Suddenly, he fell into the utensil. Fellow workers triedto rescue him, but it was quite a struggle. Muthukumar fell on the ground when the utensil tumbled.
