I am a person who had worked in remote places in NCP and there is electricity no thanks to MR, but to late minister of power and energy from the same province(Anuradhapura) prior to 1994. Even the remotest places have got electricity and there is Tv coverage , including satellite Tv!(by 2005) Once I was surprised that the knowledge of them though not educated.So I agree that film was bit unrealistic. But the theme of the film  is a reality. So leave the facts and try to understand it.There are lot of people who have not seen a beach or travel by train or plane or for that matter never come to Colombo. I have seen students for the first time coming to Colombo for Uni or higher education.The hard reality is none of those opted to work in the rural areas (there may be a rare exception) , but students from Colombo go and work in these remote areas with lot of enthusiasm. I still cherish my experience in the remotest areas in SL.</blockquote>
