This was done under the guidance of Dr Rohitha Ranaweera who embarked on this task on January of this year. The picture shows the students and the newly finished Formula car. Pix by Samantha Perera. </p><p></p><p>They were able to complete the production by mid July and the newly built car has already been test driven to finalize its production. </p><p></p><p>The students hope to compete in the upcoming 7th student Formula SAE competition which is scheduled to be held this September in Japan.
