Still this car got a minimal problem reliability rating.The XLR has a naturally aspirated V8 hence a larger engine but the XLR V is supercharged so that got the smaller engine but produces more horse power.I wish they had a manual but 6 speed automatic is really a great combination with this power plant and if you want with the automanual you can manually shift. It even has auto downshift rev matching.Lastly.... Americans can build cars.... i wish they made better cars. but that's not going to happen with all the labor laws.</blockquote>
