Just because goods are manufactured in china doesn't mean chinese get all the money, this has mostly to do with patents which belong to American companies. Cutting edge technologies are all developed in America, or Japan to a lesser degree. Those goods have massive profits while most chinese companies have marginal profits.What are the big monopolies of this world. Intel and Microsoft. Regardless of the financial situation as long as America is in forefront of Technological development they will be a dominant power in the long run.I don't think America will be a hegemony in 40 years, but it will continue to be a major superpower</blockquote>
