The minister, chairman and general manager intentionally regulate CEB profits as a strategy. Once CEB is restructured they intended to sell all distribution sectors, part of the transmission sector and all thermal power plants to the private sector (mainly to indian companies like Adani, TATA etc.) To attract them, they need to show CEB is making profits. Even during the last tariff revision, they could have reduce the tariff even further. This profit will continue untill the sale and thereafter with private sector profit margins.</p></blockquote><p></p>
