I am not trying to prove my point of CVT better here, But CVT is a newer transmission system which was introduced to replace the decades old conventional auto. There are millions of vehicles produced everyday equiping with CVT now, even at 2017. If it's as a such failure as you mentioned why would they produce CVTs still? As you mentioned there may be such failures or epic fails, but it did not stop the production of CVT vehicles.  Those failures would make newer CVT much more reliable, after refining the transmission much more with the researching on the past failures.If you are correct why would any one still producing CVT? if it's not reliable, higher maintenance cost?Toyota is a company reputed for reliablility. they would not make a unreliable car, it will ruin their globally accepted reputation. but still they are producing more of the 2017 vehicles equipped with CVT. Why is that?And their are some idiots are working in Toyota Lanka. they are thinking that they are the God for Toyota vehicles that's why their foolish attitudes toward the customers. Not all of them but some of them.I don't want to oppose you but I want to know the truth.
