The 3D LED 7000  Series will be priced ranging from Rs. 547,000 to Rs. 970,000 for 40” to  55” screens, according to a statement by the company.                       The statement further indicates that also  available will be, to create what the company calls a 3D 'ecosystem', a  3D Blu-ray player, the BD-C6900, priced at Rs. 90,000, and 3D active  glasses.                         Meanwhile, Samsung's statement also revealed the  appointment of new local distributor, Softlogic, a move that will  expand the local distribution network for its products to around 350  dealers compared to previous distribution carried out only at Singer and  Singhagiri showrooms.                       At the same time, President and Chief  Executive of Samsung South West Asia, JungSoo Shin, also quoted in the  statement, signals a shift by the company to a more aggressive footing  in the local market: "Based on our innovative 3D LED TV, LED TV and LCD  TV launches today, we are looking at attaining market leadership in the  Flat Panel TV market in Sri Lanka just as we do in 64 countries around  the world.” Further, again according to the company's statement, the  target for leading the flat panel televisions segment of the local  market has been stated as year’s end.ST</blockquote>
