So phone manufacturers/assemblers (apple, samsung, pixel) have to stay within the limits defined by SoC manufacturers (snapdragon etc) inorder to get maximum use of hardware equipped. no point of attaching 100 mp camera on 16mp optimzed SOCs.. that doesnt mean it cannot handle 100mp large sensors.. but they are not optimized for image processing which give amazing colour enhancements to the captured raw  photo</p></blockquote><p></p>
