Which can be applied to many situations. But those books were written on the influence of culture, attitudes and values which was there at that time. As an example, Bible doesn't say Not to drink wine. Because it was their cultural habit that time. But buddhism says not to drink. Islam says to punish the wrong doer - which was applicable that time because of the uncivilized nature of men. But the bible says to forgive the wrong doer - again those were the attitudes and the culture they had those days. So, all religions do have some cultural influence in them <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/happy.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":)" title="Happy    :)" data-shortname=":)" /> That was my point.</blockquote>
