If Mahinda will have to continue with war also the popularity will drop as it happened with the delay of capturing Kilinochchi...  I think the war was glorified too much and they made a huge balloon out of little rubber. Once the war is over it become useless.Sinhalese people lose interest very fast. The court case about petrol killed a lot of interest in war. Once the govt go against people the link is lost. They wouldn't celebrate the victories of a govt which supress the against the law of the country.With that single act of going against the court order, Govt fell into the same boat of Prabhakaran who breaks law. When breaking the law is wrong with Prabha how can it be right with Mahinda.</blockquote>
