But 2GB+ Ram is needed for HDV and HDAlso You need High Speed Hard Drive for Editing (Capturing); striped disk array storage(Raid 0) is better... If you use GPU Effects you need Better VGA.. Otherwise 32bit color VGA is Ok....Second thing I want to tell is Premiere 6.5 is most Stable Version.. Which can use to Learn Editing Concepts... If you are a beginner.. I also Recommend you to Use  Premiere 6.5 because AB Editing is So Easy to Handle and Understand...</blockquote>
