That is how the world identified the country throughout centuries. Thus the national anthem is written in sinhala, national flag mainly represent ancient sinhala symbols. Some racists want to write the anthem in both sinhala and tamil. First let them do it in other countries.  All knowing pundit. I’ve replied to these things.
