It also allows you to save the VGA BIOS, and this is important when you hack the BIOS to unlock things.The only drawback is that it doesn't come with a signed driver, so it cannot be installed in 64bit Vista without issues. Disabling signature verification works at times, but not always. Also, it has issues with UAC in Vista 32bit. We have to run it as Admin otherwise it can't load the necessary driver. ATI should have an option to do manual overclocking from CCC. It only supports Over Drive, which is automatic overclocking depending on how hot the card is. But CCC is another resource hog. Newer releases have lowered the RAM usage, but it's not as less as adding those options to the advanced section of the display properties. I never install CCC. At least not with this card, which doesn't support overdrive. (only X850XT supported overdrive from X8xx series)</blockquote>
