The 290x is $550..Its the best performance per money card period.. u get so much more performance for much less... thats what we have to look at and note that we are still talking about stock 290x with fan speeds stuck at 55%..because of this the performance of the card is down-clocked to keep the 95C thresh-hold...after a couple of months when the 3rd party manufacturers like Asus, MSI, Gigabyte start to come up with their own coolers & unlocks the cooling potential and when the card doesn't need to be tied down by the temperature thresh-hold..then we'll see indeed <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/cool.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":cool:" title="Cool    :cool:" data-shortname=":cool:" /> <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/cool.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":cool:" title="Cool    :cool:" data-shortname=":cool:" /> <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/cool.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":cool:" title="Cool    :cool:" data-shortname=":cool:" /></blockquote>
