Picture by Pradeep Dilrukshana[/FONT]  A commotion at a leading five star hotel last morning saw dazzling film star Anarkali Akarsha and Western Provincial Council Member Duminda Silva seeking police help to settle a dispute between them. An eyewitness said that Ms. Akarsha had sought police help after allegedly being subjected to harassment.   When contacted, police media spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekara said that Ms. Akarsha had lodged a complaint with the Kollupitiya police for future reference, to the effect that Mr. Silva had harassed her. In her complaint Ms. Akarsha had said that she and Mr. Silva had lived together in one of Colombo’s leading apartment complexes since December 2007. However certain personal issues had cropped up between them and impelled her to leave Mr. Silva. Ms. Akarsha, in her statement, had told police that Mr. Silva was critical of her lifestyle and had tried to break her connection with the film industry and prevent her from taking part in films. This had eventually decided her to leave him. The police however had settled the dispute; the two parties had left the station separately.</blockquote>
