While the patch notes do say that the game no longer freezes if played on an ATI 3K, 4K, or 5K series while running Windows Vista/7 (both 32 bit and 64 bit), this is a “beta patch” and is “not fully tested”. The disclaimer downloaders must agree to notes specifically and many times that EA will not be responsible if it damages your computer in any shape or form. The patch has been released to “test its capabilities and performance” and may not address any of the compatibility issues. Feeling lucky?</blockquote>
