We are Anonymous. This is an important message to the ISIS extremists who are behind this weekend’s Easter Sunday attacks in Sri Lanka. This is a message from anonymous. A video has surfaced showing that eight perpetrators of the recent attacks in Sri Lanka have pledged allegiance to ISIS, and the terror group has also now taken full credit for the blasts that took hundreds of lives. Although there were only 8 people in the video, it is likely that there were many more involved in the attack. Three of the fighters, named Abu Obeidah, Abu Baraa, and Abu Moukhtar were said to be behind the attacks on the Shangri-La, Cinnamon Grand and Kingsbury hotels. Another three, said to be Abu Hamza, Abu Khalil and Abu Mohammad carried out attacks on churches in the cities of Colombo, Negombo, and Batticaloa. The seventh fighter, Abu Abdallah, killed three police officers in an attack in a Colombo suburb, and it appears that the 8th person in the video has still not been identified or apprehended. The brutality and lack of concern for human life exhibited by the bombers on Sunday seems indicative of the ISIS caliphate. In one picture, an ISIS fighter can be seen patting a small child on the head before walking into the church with a bomb. Two of the brothers in the attack come from a very wealthy family of spice traders, but very few details have been released to the public. It was reported that one of the brothers used a fake name when entering the hotel, but the other used his real name, which led authorities back to his family. Thus far, the only leads we have on the family are the names of the two brothers Ilham and Inshaf Ibrahim. It was also reported that a woman who was married to one of the sons detonated a bomb and killed herself at the family’s residence when police arrived to take her in for questioning. She killed herself, three of her children, and three additional police officers during the explosion. She was also pregnant at the time. The father of the two terrorists is Mohammed Yusuf Ibrahim, and he is not only a wealthy businessman, but he is also connected to many high ranking officials in the country. There are currently investigations underway to determine whether or not anyone else in this wealthy family is also connected to ISIS. It is possible that this family belongs to an opulent sleeper cell in Sri Lanka. However, if this is the case, the authorities and media in Sri Lanka cannot be trusted, because it will be extremely easy for this family to win over those interests with their money. In fact, there have been multiple reports indicating that police and Sri Lankan officials had multiple prior warnings about the attack. The authorities were well aware that this group was operating locally and were warned by many residents that this group was a threat. ISIS is nearly defeated, and they are currently dwindling away to nothing, but this does not mean that they are no longer dangerous. ISIS is still very much a threat, and it is possible that they will strike out with even more violence as they become more desperate to maintain their caliphate. This is why it is up to us, in the corners of the internet, to conduct a real investigation that will not be influenced by an outside agenda. The time has come for us to unite, the time has come for us to stand up and fight! We are Anonymous! We are Legion! We do not forgive! We do not forget!
