The maximum capacity permitted is 250 cc. Only the Defence sector is permitted to possess motorbikes with an engine capacity upto 500 cc. The owner was taken into custody along with the motorbike, following information received by the Central Province DIG Pujith Jayasundera. The Police believe that the motorbike had been imported by producing fake documens.
