Simple to understand.According to budhdha's teaching, we are in a maha badhra kalpaya. By definition, the kalpaya is the time period between two Ice ages, where the civilization gets destroyed. This kalpaya is called a mahaa badhra kalpaya as 5 budhdhas are getting born/ arisen during this kalpaya(this is the maximum number in a kalpaya). So.. out of that 5, our gauthama budu haamuduruwoo is the 4th. We are luky enough to be born as a human in this budhdhothpaada kaalaya. (budhdhothpaada kaalaya is the time period where the budhdha's teachings last, and this time period is said to be arround 5000 years from budhdha's time. and people become enlightened/ become rahath during any period of this 5000 years)So, we are lucky to be born in this budhdhoithpaada season.We are lucky to be born as a human during this budhhdhothpaada season.(other animals doesn't have the processing power/brain enough to process the philosophy of buddhism)We are lucky to have access to buddhism.( if we we in kuwait, we won't have access)we are lucky to be born without any hearing/ visual defect etc. to hear  and see the buddhism.)So, we have got a very very rare chance.Are we sure that we'll get this much of chance during next buddha's period. If we do sin and go to hell, or have a birth in a bad place, their lives may last for millions and millions of years. So, surely we are going to miss the next budhdha.So...... very simple. we have got a very very rare opportunity. we can understand that if we have a little brain.Are you sure that you are going to live the next 24 hours.Who can say. You might die much before you think.So. it's simple to understand that we have to act fast/ without a delay.Appamadoo amathapadanAppamaadena sampadetha.This is what loard budhdha said on the bed he died/ piriniwan paapu, just before he went to his last sleep.</blockquote>
