Only a handful of schools have the means to educate them. Many of them are often ridiculed, pitied and considered a burden. The SVAB is committed to uplift the lives of these children, by assisting them to be independent and live with dignity. To achieve this, the SVAB has planned to build 'Senehasa' a school for children with special needs in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This school is intended to be equipped with modern equipment in order to make it one of the best in the country. Public are invited to watch the progress of this project by logging into the website <a href="http://www.senehasa.org" target="_blank">www.senehasa.org</a> . The total cost of the project is around Rs. 169 million.The 'Provost Ladies Club' is the branch of the SVAB at the Regiment of Military Police and the club hopes to collect Rs.1.35 millions by mid November as the first leg. Donations can be made by drawing your bank draft in favour of "PRI RHQ SLCMP" and send to the President, Provost Ladies Club, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Polhengoda, Kirulapone (Colombo 5) or directly depositing the money at account number 0002748130 of People's Bank, Borella branch.</blockquote>
