The IS degree Programme is designed to produce this new breed of IT professionals referred to as Business Analysts. Business Analyst is someone who interprets business rules and requirements for technical systems. The curriculum of this programme also emphasizes the importance of soft skills such as communication and teamwork. Students entering the IS stream will obtain a 3 year Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSc IS) or a 4 year Bachelor of Science Honours in Information Systems (BSc (Hons) in IS).80 students will be admitted to the IS stream of which 20 would be chosen for the BSc (Hons) in IS at the end of year 2 based on their performance and preference.Bachelor Of Information Technology (BIT)http://www.bit.lkThis degree programme is offerred only as an external degree programme.
