The owner of the truck and a businessman were arrested by the Batticaloa police. The truck was meant to be sent to Colombo to target an important landmark. Parts of the truck had been removed to be fitted with explosives when the STF personnel raided the garage The lorry has been handed over to the Batticaloa Police. The raid was conducted on a tip off. Meanwhile Police informed to be aware when traveling to Colombo as there are 6 vehicles carrying explosives. If you see one of these vehicles please call the nearest Police station. Please stay away from these vehicles also.
