This prediction also implies that the amplitude of the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunyaev-Zel%27dovich_effect" target="_blank">Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect</a> in <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clusters_of_galaxies" target="_blank">clusters of galaxies</a> does not depend directly on redshift; this seems to be roughly true, but unfortunately the amplitude does depend on cluster properties which do change substantially over cosmic time, so a precise test is impossible. </blockquote>
