But the mainstream media, especially over the last few years, intentionally ignore the overall picture and highlight few exceptional cases to completely distort the reality and create political opportunities out of it. Whites do die at police gunfire. But it's not newsworthy. Blacks harass east-Asians in the streets, but that's not newsworthy. Because they don't fit the left agenda which was pushed pretty harshly over the last few years.If you want to keep emotions out of it, and want to assess it factually, have a look at crime statistics. Black Americans. who is about 12% of the population contributes to about 1/3rd of the violent crimes. The sad thing is in most of the time, at the receiving end of these violent crimes, is also a black american.</blockquote>
