Among their activities are political work with the peace process and fundraising in the increasing Tamil community in Norway. The LTTE is famous for it's violations of human rights. They kidnap children and use them as childsoldiers. Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch has appealed to the LTTE organisations in Norway and Internationally to abolish the use of children in their terrorism. The 7th July 2004 Amnesty again published a disturbing report about the LTTE beating the families of small children so they could use their children as soldiers.</blockquote>
