Message: <blockquote data-quote="mozart" data-source="post: 1118401" data-attributes="member: 17179">The Sri Lanka Government has decided to withdraw from the Cease-fire Agreement signed with the LTTE with immediate effect. This decision was taken at a Cabinet Meeting this evening. The agreement reached in February 2002 is officially termed "AGREEMENT ON A CEASEFIRE BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF SRI LANKA AND THE LIBERATION TIGERS OF TAMIL EELAM". It was an MoU signed by the former Premier Ranil Wickremesinghe and LTTE Leader Pirapaharan.
