I get this all the time. from my sri lankan friends. so let me explain you.4 months of incredible weather ->  half may ,june, july, august, half september. better than sri lanka. feels like paradise on earth. theres no place that matches summer in canada(personal opinion). lot of festivals, activities. 4 months of cool breezy weather -> spring and fall. march is great.  not too cold. its like nuwara eliya temp. but you're more energized when you see life around your springing into action. | september, October, November -> fall season. a favorite among locals ( I personally prefer summer). very colorful. breezy not cold, not hot.4 months of cold -> november to mid december. you love the cold, the snow is magical. its cold but it doesnt bite you. after christmas until end of February its about survival for most. for others its winter activities(skiing). january and february it becomes bone chilling cold. most dont even dare to go outside unless necessary. but after 2-3yrs staying here you will get used to it. it wont even bother you much.so its actually 2.5 months of extreme cold contrary to the belief that everyday is cold here. to be honest I prefer the seasonalities as it reminds you not to waste a good day. its like life, you wont stay young forever. winter reminds you to make the best use in the good days. some sri lankans I know(rich sri lankans) spend the winter in sri lanka and come back here in march. to each his own.------ Post added on [DATETIME="UT"]1613313602[/DATETIME]</blockquote>
