Sri Lankans living in Denmark together with Danish friends of Sri Lanka, displayed photographs of the incidents of atrocities of the LTTE during the past years and demonstrated against terrorism in general.A CASTIS delegation succeeded in making the Danes aware of the brutality of the LTTE during the past 25 years making people to suffer and live with fear.CASTIS believes that the opportunity to make arrangements in front of the City Hall in Copenhagen was very important due to the reason that they were able to present this message of the nature and the consequences of terrorism to many people. The people behind terrorism should be condemned by all.The Danes are of the opinion that ethnic conflicts and political conflicts should be solved through dialog and democratic political processes respecting every individual’s right to make choices of their own will, without making them fear for life caused by terrorist actions.Therefore, the terrorists and terrorism must be defeated to bring back peace and harmony in order to make Sri Lanka strong in the future as an active member of the international society.
