It never expires but you got to do the industrial CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) which expires every 3 years (as i remember) to qualify as a CCNA from Cisco.But that Academy programs gives overall network knowledge while Industrial CCNA or so called Associate give more in to Cisco products.Cisco runs 80% of worlds networks. They have a monopoly bigger than Microsoft when it comes to networks. They are like gods of Networks!So learning about Cisco products not like product oriented coz they are used world wide and there is no ISP in this world who doesn't have cisco products.Anyway its up to you. If you wanna get real Network talent and hands on experience do the Academy Program which is around 1 year. Associate you can just study and sit even from 1 month. Its just a exam with MCQ. But jobs ask for that other than the Academy Certificate because its more in to cisco products and managing them in a LAN environment.</blockquote>
