I have many friends who has 1st class engineering degrees but they are working as management trainees at places like nestle, MAs etc. They get payed well alltirght but our country's technical task force is diminishing rapidly and as always we have to rely on foreing experts for every little construction or similar projects. Its a total waste of our work force. Just visit the coal power plant or the new port and see how those places are infested by chinese crap! If this continues , we wont be having any properly experienced engineers in our country! Thank god the doctors stick to their trade. If not the same will happen to that field too.My point is if you are thinking of ditching your field for more money, just get the hell out of the public University and do cima on your own!
