Message: <blockquote data-quote="ink2m" data-source="post: 11962" data-attributes="member: 1876">Hundreds of Civilians of all ethnicities gathered at Kallar junction today (Tuesday 25th of July), staged a massive protest against the arbitrary closure of sluice gates of the Mahavilaru -Irrigational anicut by the LTTE. According to the Media center for National security Sluice gats has been forcibly kept closed by the LTTE since Thursday (20th of July) Morning. The closure has denied the water supply for several thousands of civilians in SERUNUWARA, MUTTUR, UYLANKULAM, VILANPATTU, KILIWEDDY, KALLAR, DEHIWATTA, SELVANAGAR and NEELAPOLA areas for both domestic and agricultural purposes.
