However the medical faculty remains open.The Kiribathgoda Police have been rushed to the scene and students  residing in the campus hostel have been issued a notice to vacate the  university premises before 8.00 a.m. tomorrow morning. According to the police, the clash had taken place between students of  the Arts and Science faculties. Around 800 students were involved in the  clash.
