Would you believe me if I say that an Ordinary citizen sued DSI (the rubber foot wear manufacture) over a skin rash which was a result in wearing their slippers.......the court ordered 500,000 to be paid to the man as compensasion. These loop holes of the system is a result in Lack of RESPECT and CARE for your self and the society as a whole. As a citizen, we should be taught from the small days to stand our grounds and do what's RIGHT. Compassion for the other human being and the respect for your own self dignity is what lacks in Sri Lankans. But at the end of the day X-pert....<img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/lol.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":lol:" title="LOL    :lol:" data-shortname=":lol:" /> who are we kidding with ? A cop get's a salary of a mere 10 K and he's expected to run a family also to keep the law. With all the rising cost of living and all other factors, you simply can't blame him being accepting a Bribe.Example : I was in Singapore once with a friend, he was charged nearly US$ 250 for an illegle U turn..though he was offering US$100 for the cop, never took it.,.......on the same context, I can "DRIVE" in Mumbai without any LICENSE of a sort and can get away with it by just bribing Indian Rs. 20 to the cop.</blockquote>
