Its just a music Style they love to listen & they love it so much that they decided to make their own music by forming a band... I agree that there are guys (Sum Black Metal Bands in SL) who follow satanism..but dont think it is followed as a religion but only as a philosophy..(One such Band member sent me a copy of the Black Bibile..but after I read it I do not agree with it entirely...as it is a philosophy which only promotes Individuality... but it has some positive points as well..but the extreme individualization buries all the positives for me)So my point is you need knowledge about the genre you listen to but you dont have to live it... Some might chose to but most dont...They love it for the spark they get when listening to it.. And so do most bands...
