If you ever consider visiting feel free to ask. Will tell you where to visit given the duration of the visit. I don't plan these things but my wife does. I am only the driver. We have visited Canada more than five times now and Alaska once. Have taken the 4WD on the ship from Vancouver to Alaska and driven back to Vancover on road. It was done in about three weeks in total and we have driven more than 8000 kms when the vehicle was returned. Hired the vehicle from a SL guy and he promised that he will provide a vehicle free anytime for us on next visits. PS: The very first photo in this post is not Jasper. It's the Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park. Yoho probably is about one & a half hour drive from Jasper. It's one of the smaller parks in BC but worth a day's visit. It's much closer from Yoho to Banff. Not to miss is the Takakkaw Falls, which is the tallest waterfall in the Canadian Rockies and the second-tallest in Canada. It's fed from a Glacier and quite nice in early summer. There are several other parks in BC Canada and you just can't cover all in one visit. Also you need to visit duirng two seasons.
