Deyata Kirula exhibition begins today The 'Deyata Kirula' exhibition will commence today at the BMICH, Colombo. The exhibition would express the nation's self-esteem regarding its proud heritage, present challenges and projected development, Finance & State Revenue Minister and Deputy Minister of Finance & Planning Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said. He said the exhibition is significant since the expenditure is transparent and accountable. "All constructions were done through tender procedures according to Government financial regulations. The Deyata Kirula exhibition can be named as one of the most transparent events. It is far above the exhibitions and events we experienced in the past," he said. Further the Minister said that representatives of medical faculties from two Russian Universities would be at the exhibition premises aiming to offer educational facilities to Sri Lankan students. Rumanian and Canadian delegates will also be here to offer employment opportunities and educational facilities to our school leavers. The police along with the security forces have taken every possible step to ensure security during the 'Deyata Kirula Exhibition' which will commence today. The exhibition will be opened to the public from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. until February 10. But admission will close at 5.30 p.m. Courtesy - Daily News
