If he's to do the things he's promising, its a must to have the majority of the parliament!2. we'll assume that SF is not corrupted as the other politicians. But when he goes ahead with the general election the parties that will be supporting are UNP and JVP right? i'm guessing that if SF wins the presidential election UNP and JVP will win the general election with a very very small margin. So to get the majority of the parliament they'll be relying on the ministers that will change sides and we all know that those people are the most rotten fruits in the basket. And what guarantee will we have that the that government which will be appointed wont be as corrupted as the one we have now? or even worse?3. If SF is to cancel the executive powers of the Presidency he wont have any authority over the government right? how will he be delivering us to the promise land if that happens? cause if that is to happen the prime minister will be spearheading the country! So Sf will be nothing more than a sock puppet?</blockquote>
