I don't mind a program using lots of memory with a reason! If I try, I can get FF memory consumption to 500MB with only 1 tab! The memory leaks are coming from Javascript. If you turn off Javascript, this issue is not there....but you will be missing a lot of web functionality. Firefox 3 solves this to a great extent, and I'm really looking forward to the final release.P.S.I had trouble running Crysis with Firefox open because of this, when I had 3GB RAM.
