Eating plants wont drive you to a bad idea in mind where as in eating meat you know that the animal was forcibly brought to death ..plants dont give out a noticeable scream or something like that; that in return makes no bad karma so eating plant food is not like eating meat ...but when u get meat from a store its already killed and if you buy only when there is meat at the store(not asking the butcher to kill more ...some people select the animal they want to kill sometimes too!) that wont make karma but according to buddhism there is a glitch in that too we are giving money to the butcher for meat that leads him to kill again ..now thats wrong but if t cant be done by individuals here and there it should be done by a whole societywho the hell is A.D gunasekara? uta molayak athema nada?</blockquote>
