Any information regarding the robbery can be notified to the police  through special telephone numbers – 011-2662311, 011-2662323,  011-2685151On Friday morning an armed gang robbed a bank vehicle at gunpoint which  was transporting cash to be deposited in bank teller machines. Six  persons in bikes with weapons had stopped the vehicle in Thelangapatha,  Peliyagoda and robbed the cash as well as the weapons of the security  persons.Five special police teams have been appointed to look in to the robbery  according to the instructions of the IGP Mahinda Balasuriya.
