There are mechanical timer switches which can be programmed. Also the electronic timer can be programmed for seven days with four different timings on different days. Then of course it repeats for the next week. These contain internal batteries and does not lose the program even if power fails.The other easiest option is using smart switches. TP-Link has the their Smart Plug and also Belkin has the WeMo range. Just check eBay or Amazon.
