He became infamous for his blunt approach with the most recent incident being the unofficial ban on liquor shops in his electorate the Kelaniya area.    Please post your views and suggestions* What you think of him making it to parliament, closing down liquor shops in Kelaniya...We will take them to, Mervyn Silva.   This forum will be open from April 19 to May 3, 2010, at the end of which we will personally take your comments to Mervyn Silva.Viewer CommentsApril 29, 2010  11:00 pmWe need politicians like you..... go ahead........GihanApril 29, 2010  02:57 pmI am forwarding another way of looking at Mervin being the deputy to media minister. In schools, sratergy being used to reform school bullies is to give then a responsible position of caring. Very often it does the trick without resorting to punishing and susupention which create more problematic individuals in the society. So consider Mervin back in school learning good behaviour in a positive manner.
