Now right click the duplicated layer and go into ‘Blending Options’ and use these settings for colour overlay:</p><p> <a href="http://rodriguesdesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/9.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://rodriguesdesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/9.png" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></a>Colour overlay.</p><p></p><p> 7. Hit OK and your line should now look more solid but if you noticed the end of the line theres a gap between the 2 layers, select the layer thats beneath the other and use the brush tool with size 4px and fill in the gaps, zooming in makes a difference:</p><p> <a href="http://rodriguesdesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/10.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://rodriguesdesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/10.png" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></a>Filling in gaps with the brush tool.</p><p></p><p> After you finish filling in the gaps with the brush tool zoom back out to 100% and you will see our first solid line! If you feel you don’t need to edit the 2 seperate layers anymore you can select both layers and merge them by right clicking on one of them.</p><p> <strong>Step 3: More Lines & More Colours!</strong></p><p></p><p> What we are trying to do is use majority of the colours on the colour spectrum (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink) and experiment with the different shades to give the lines a nice solid feel.</p><p> 1. Create a new layer above or below the previous one and repeat Step 2 but use the next colour up in the spectrum so this would be orange.</p><p> 2. Keep repeating Step 2 with different colours and brush sizes and different curves in lines until you get a nice bunch of lines that are plump and pretty!</p><p> <strong>Step 4: Your finished!</strong></p><p></p><p> Well done!
