The telecom giant will use these vehicles in their regional outlets to better facilitate their services to its customers.</p><p></p><p>SLT CEO Shuhei Anan said that he is happy that SLT had the opportunity of procuring locally manufactured vehicles and is confident of the reliability and durability of these vehicles. “Together with SLT, we will join hands with Micro Vans in promoting the development of local business,” he said, adding that it is a clear demonstration of SLT’s commitment to supporting the local industry.</p><p></p><p>Dr. Lawrence Perera, Chairman of Micro Car Ltd said that SLT will be supported with the highest level of back up services through their experienced technical support staff. “This unique opportunity has created another chapter in the business world,” he said. The handing over ceremony was held at the Polgahawela factory of Micro Vans Ltd.</p><p></p><p>Sri Lanka Telecom (<a href="http://www.slt.lk" target="_blank">www.slt.lk</a>) is one of the country’s most valuable blue chip companies with an annual turnover in excess of Rs.30 billion.
