In the  announcement issued the Commissioner of  Elections states no media should publish the  percentage of the total polled. In all earlier elections the percentage of the  polled votes was announced after 4.00  p.m.but  this time publishing the information was ‘ censored’ by the Commissioner. However, election monitors talking about this ‘ censorship’ say the Commissioner of Elections  himself has left loopholes for irregularities at this  election and as such, there are serious doubts  regarding the outcome of the general election. </blockquote>
