Field selection depends on 1st semester rankings. you have to get in to at least within 1st 190 ranks to get selected to Electronics department. 1st semester exam performance depends on ones dedication in the 1st semester. some ppl get in to boarding places to read together with friends even if they live within 1km away from the uni. also top A/L rankers get low 1st sem ranks sometimes. it generally depends on the dedication in the 1st sem. but high A/L rankers usually score higher ranks in the 1st sem naturally anyway</p></blockquote><p></p>
