It gives a kind of computer you can depend on, software which you can install and forget. The apple engineers care about their product and reputation. But still a product shouldn't ride on a cult status.IMO a Mac is just a user friendly Linux PC which is already configured to the button and what you just do is forget configuring and maintenance and focus on getting your work done with it.</blockquote>
