Geeks and IT Pros go for the linux cult and artists and hipsters go for the mac cult. The cult image is something bad since the whole thing might fall in an instant. It's not like a reputation built step by step throughout years.I don't bash macs or their cults. But they are quite shameless in enforcing their rights. They included sha hashes in latest ipods so that only itunes can access the ipod song database.
