Human Rights Council  in Geneva.               Sri Lanka has fiercely resisted attempts by the  47-nation U.N. rights body to call for an independent probe of abuses  alleged to have occurred as it fought separatist Tamil Tiger rebels.               The country says its own Lessons Learnt and  Reconciliation Commission has sufficiently investigated all allegations,  something human rights groups dispute.<img src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/0c/Associated_Press_logo_2012.svg/30px-Associated_Press_logo_2012.svg.png" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></blockquote>
